Bible For when You Are Helpless
Everybody who live in the East Texas place just came through Hurricane Rita. Much damage was done through here. Through all of it, nevertheless, Proverbs 1:33 came through for us.
Prov 1:33
Whoso hearkeneth unto me will remain firmly, and will be serene from concern of evil. (KJV).
In the wee hours of the morning, when the storm was at its fiercest, knocking trees into our home and shaking it to the truly structures, God provided us the Scripture to hope. We were to want Paul’s “power outdoor camping tent” that God placed him in as he combated the “thorn-demon.”.

You see, our youngest kid, her 4 kids, her partner, his mama and niece and 2 friends were here to avert the storm. Quickly after they got here, the storm moved and was coming right at us.
We were helpless. It took our kid 12 hours to get to our home simply 85 miles away. They reversed and returned to our home.
We then comprehended that we were here throughout of the storm. We also comprehended that the only escape was the security of God Almighty.
When once again, the only thing the Holy Ghost would let us hope was for the “power outdoor camping tent.” You see, in the verse above, the expression “rest upon” relates 2 Greek words, “upon” and “camping tent.” Jesus put a “outdoor camping tent of power” upon Paul which protected him from the thorn for the rest of his life.
We wished for this “power outdoor camping tent” and got it. Trees knocked into our home, yard and carport. None people were harmed at all.
